Bali Bob has over 10 years experience with dreadlocks catering to a wide variety of clients including band members, sporting and tv personalities.
No need to worry about your hair being super straight, curly or extremely thick. We have chemical-free methods for creating dreadlocks that he can tailor to your particular hair type, hair length and lifestyle. No perming and only natural product (Murray’s beeswax) used in your hair. You will walk out with the tightest, most well-formed and permanent dreadies right from day one. Please note: hair needs to be at least 5cm long.
Dreadies can take anywhere from 2 to 8 hours. Our business is based at home so you can kick back and relax, watch a movie from our huge range of DVD’s or listen to your own CD’s all in complete privacy away from a busy salon. We guide you on the maintenance over the next 2-4 weeks and we’re only a phone call away if you need any advice.

PRICING:
We do not charge by the hour. Our prices are fixed for most of our services. The price will vary when you’re getting your dreadies made for the first time as it depends on your length of hair.
We do not charge for products used on the day.

Making Dreadies - short to medium length hair: $400.00
From your scalp up to 10-15cm past your shoulders.
Making Dreadies - long hair: $500 - $850
From half way down your back onwards
Basic Dread maintenance: $200.00
Dread maintenance is a service to help keep dreads growing nice and clean. Recommended every 4 – 6 months depending on how fast your hair grows. We are happy to fix your hair even if you didn’t have your original dreadies done by us.
Dreads done elsewhere by twisting or perming: $200 - $400
We have had many clients who have had their dreadies done either by
twisting the hair or starting with a perm. Please be aware your dreadlocks
will eventually come out. We are able to fix this problem, but the charge
for this will depend on how serious the damage is. Most people only
need the badly made dreadies re-tightened then sewn, this is not the
same as having them done from scratch and therefore, the cost will
vary depending on the time it takes & how much work is involved
(most need to be unpicked first).
If the dreads are mostly out: $400.00

The cost will vary depending on the length you require. We have all colours available & can make them to any length you desire.
